Trim your wick! The first rule of thumb for candle care is to always trim the wick to 1/4″ before each use, or when the wick «mushrooms», trimming the wick will allow the candle to have a longer burn time, trim the wick by turning the solidified candle upside down and using a cloth, paper or a wick trimmer, trim the wick or remove the “mushroom” left behind by the previous burning Turning the candle upside down prevents the burned wick from falling into the candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended! it is a fire hazard and we want you to enjoy your candle safely.
Never light a candle near anything flammable, away from drafts or other sources of heat, and keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets.
In general, it is recommended not to burn candles for more than four hours and allow it to cool for at least two hours before turning it back on.

Store candles in an upright, level position.
Take care not to leave your candle in hot environments, vehicles or expose it to direct heat as the wax will soften and liquefy, if spilled, soy wax cleans up easily with soap and water.

Extinguish the flame by placing the lid on the candle, using a snuffer or dipping the wick into the pool of melted wax, then replace it, this will help remove any residual smoke and ensure
proper candle care.
